Re: INFINITY KITCHENS?

If you do a search on this forum for Infinity Kitchens you'll find that theyre the same company as Dilusso Kitchens....

If that doesn't warn you off, nothing will!

guess whos coming back

About a year after they left a lot of people without a kitchen ... DILUSSO is back ... Infinity is to start using the name Dilusso again. Still the same company and just like last time nothing has changed, same old people still running the company and supplied by DK distribution

Stay well away. Still waiting for return of our deposit of £3000. They're a bunch of liars and thieves. They agree one thing, take your money and leave you high & dry. Don't have dealings with them at all.

Infinity Kitchens

Looks like this Company has gone the way of it's previous incarnation.

No answer to any of the Branches phone lines and the Head Office phone is "Out of Order"

Well all I can say is........." I told you so!!!!"

Infinity

I don't know why White Knight is so boastful to what I hear Moben went the same way last year and it was only the capital company that saved them however to what I hear profits are no better their either. Yes its true Infinitity is now and truly beyond but don't worry they will be back under a new name soon.

To think this all started with my complaint with Moben and now I hear it all from the various forums I have joined.

Disgruntled staff from Moben and Infinity/dillusso ready to spill the beans.

Infinity Kitchens

My advice is also to stay well away - my experience has been disastrous and am now left with a very expensive, incomplete kitchen and having to deal with Infinity's administrator and the excruciatingly unhelpful "customer service" people at Infinity. I want my kitchen sorted but I also want the people investigated and if necessary prosecuted. I think from my experience, there is evidence of trading while insolvent etc etc, misrepresentation etc and fraud. I have made an initial approach to the administrator asking for them to investigate whether criminal prosecutions should be brought against the directors of Infinity (who I understand from these blogs were the same directors of Infinity's insolvent predecessor Di Lusso). if these reports are true, there is a clear pattern of behaviour of reckless trading. I am contacting Watchdog and Consumer Standards as well. Probably won't help me financially but I am just so aghast by my personal experience and what I have read about them.

China Star, spill the beans please!

Hi, new to the forum. Just stumbled upon this by accident whilst trying to find out what the F is going on with Infinity.

My new bedroom isnt complete and I have been trying to get in touch via telephone for a week but get the "sorry our telephones are temporarily..." rubbish.

Was thinking of visiting my nearest sales office in Darlington.

I'm only missing 3 bedroom doors, every handle, some backing and some boxing in.

Next step??!!
Cheers

I think you will get a letter from the administrator. Given this appears to have happened before with Infinity's previous incarnation Di Lusso, check out the advice in the Dilusso threads about remedies (including if you paid by credit card, getting your money back that way). Until we hear whether the new incarnation will honour its contracts its difficult to know what to do. I am very concerned that the very same liquidator who acted on the DiLusso administration iseems to be acting on the Infinity administration and that a deal has already been cut to sell the business - how did that happen so quickly and are these parties related like last time??? I will be making enquiries.

I don't think that talking with any credit card companies is going to help.
From the information that I have acquired, Infinity did not have a Merchant arrangement with Credit Card Companies because of the debacle with Dilusso.

In fact they were far from trusted, allegedly.

On the other hand they did manage to obtain another consumer credit license and if anyone has a kitchen or bedroom covered by a finance agreement then they will have some additional consumer protection. Best speak to the lender in this regard.

Someone on another forum posted that Dilusso owed some £500k to DK Distribution when they went under. He obtained the full report from the receivers listing the full assets and liabilities.
I wonder how much DK have now lost in this enterprise and where all the old Infinity/Dilusso staff are now?

Anyone know???
