Re: ukf kitchens ????

Hello/

Yes we used them nearly ten years ago, i ended up taking them through the small claims court because they didn't finish the kitchen. They used cowboy contractors who did a runner, and when i tried to get UKF to finish it they said they had nothing to do with it, it was the fitter's responsibility who had disappeared.
Back then they traded under the name Ultimate Kitchens and i believe they have changed name several times since then. I know of other people who have had the same problems with them aswell.
Hope this is useful, good luck.

Exclamation UKF Kitchens

Please, Please, Please DO NOT use this kitchen firm.

Our new kitchen was started in February 2007, it is now 8th March 2008 and it is still not complete.

They are trading as U.K.F. which stands for Ultimate Kitchen Furniture.

As previously stated they use cowboy fitters who start the job and cannot complete.

When signing the contract i understood that i was being supplied and fitted a complete kitchen. Once the contract is signed it turns out that you pay U.K.F. for the kitchen, cash or bankers draft, they will accept nothing else, not even a personal cheque. You then pay the fitter and electrician seperately.

Any problems that occur during fitting, or afterwards, the company wash there hands of the whole procedure and pass the buck round everyone else, it is never there fault. And get quite rude and abusive when telephoning to remind them we are still waiting.

13 months after work started we still have parts missing, and items that don't work.

Afternoon after seeing your comment i thought i must reply.. Im very suprised at the other qoutes posted About ULTIMATE KITCHEN FURNITURE. I purchashed my kitchen from ukf around 6 months ago. I had longed for a new kitchen so i wanted to make the correct decision and with so many cowboys out there i thought it would be hard. But i was very wrong. Ultimate Kitchen Furniture took the stress out of doing this project. I needed plastering and other little bits and thought i would need to do this seperate but UKF also took on this work so yet again i had no stress and could enjoy the process. After the initial meeting with a very charming and freindly salesman i had my kitchen surveyed which gave me further peice of mind now knowing my kitchen would fit just as i wanted it. The end result was beyond my expectation. I paid around the same money moben quoted me for a colour coded rigid built kitchen with all the trimmings.. I would recommend UKF in a hearbeat. Even the office staff were a pleasure to talk to.. Great firm with a superior product.

Smile Ukf Kitchens

Hi, I've just had a kitchen fitted by UKF in Warrington and I must say they have done a fantastic job. This can't be the same company that these other people are talking about. The kitchen we picked was from the Warrington showroom and only took 3 days to fit by Phil who was a really nice lad. Hope this helps

Thumbs up

We had our Kitchen fitted with them 5 years ago, since had our sons fitted bedroom done by them and am looking at using them to do our bedroom too. Would highly recommend them, never had any problems what-so-ever. Very professional in all aspects from the initial visit to the showroom, until the completion of the jobs.

The quality of the items are fantastic, had a quote from another local firm for our bedroom, when the guy saw the quality of the job done on our sons, he was even impressed, and the quote he gave was double to UKF.

Hope this helps - and yes we are geniune customers of UKF!!!!!

If you would have read my post correctly you would have seen that the kitchen was fitted 5 years ago and we have since used them for a fitted bedroom,

Its people like you that put off other people joining these sort of forums!!!!!
yes we all browse the sites, MSE included, and when we feel that we should make a post we get knocked down because we are NEWBYS.....

Also, I haven't even looked on Blagger, but thanks for pointing that one out as I will also make a comment on there.

Anyway, back to the post, Great company, Excellent customer services, would highly recommend.

Thank you
Jo
