Ask-questions search facility: Find the answer you have been looking for!

to search this site follow this link:

http://www.ask-questions.com/yabbse/...;action=search

This search facility has been designed to make it even easier for you to find the answer you have been looking for!

As more and more questions are being put on this site, chances are that there have been people before you who have had the same or a similar question. Their question might already have been answered, which will make it quicker for you to find an answer to your question.

Here?s how to use this facility.

1.In the ?Search for? box you can put the subject you have a question about. In the drop down menu next to the box you can then choose whether you want to match all the words, any words or whether you want to set the words as a phrase.

Example: If you type in ?Laminate Flooring?, and set the drop down menu to ?any words?, all the questions or answers with either ?laminate? or ?flooring? or both will be displayed. If you set the drop down menu to ?all the words?, only questions or answers with both words (in any order) will be displayed. If you choose ?set in phrase?, then the only results you will get are questions or answers with the exact words ?laminate flooring? in it.

2.In the ?By User? box you can search for all the questions or answers that have been given by the same person about this subject. You will however get more results if you just search on keywords.

3.You can choose to tick which categories you want to include in your search, but it is always advisable to leave all the categories ticked, as you are then the most likely to get the questions that are similar to yours. Also keeping the boxes ?Subject? and ?Message? ticked will broaden your results.

4.?Max Age since last post? should preferably be put on 100 days or more to enable you to see older questions as well. And you can change the amount of results displayed by changing it to 100 for example.

If you can?t find an answer to your questions by looking through other people?s answers, please click ?Home? at the top left of this page. You can then go to the appropriate category and click ?New Topic?, where you can leave your question. Another visitor or one of our team of experts can then try and answer the question for you. Good luck!
