ASK-QUESTIONS.COM ? BOARD RULES

The forums provided by eBuilders Ltd (The owners of ASK-QUESTIONS.COM) are for discussions about conservatories, double-glazing, kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and other related home improvements. You are encouraged to contribute to these forums. Most of our groups are open, and anyone can post their own messages, or reply to those posted by others.

When using our forums, please observe the usual rules of Netiquette, but in particular:

1.???Please try to stay on topic! These are home improvement related boards. If you can?t find a board on a home improvement subject that particularly interests you then make your posting in the ?Home Improvement Discussion? board.

2.???When replying to a previous message, only quote as much of the original as necessary. Don't repeat a long message, then put "I agree!" at the bottom...it's hard to read, and slow to download.

3.???Our forums or private messaging systems do not allow commercial postings. They are not a depository for press releases, adverts, or any other solicited or unsolicited commercial communication. Only members of the home improvement trade who answer questions posted by our visitors are permitted to include a link to their website in their ?posting signature?.

4.???You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, libellous, hateful, threatening or any other material that may violate any applicable laws. This also applies to any postings containing offensive statements relating to sexual orientation, race, religion or other factors having no relevance to the subjects discussed. Failure to comply may lead to suspension or termination of your user account without further notice from us.

5.???The boards are reviewed daily and any offensive postings will be removed. Members are asked to report any offensive posts to the forum moderator through the "Report to moderator" link that appears on each post.

6.???The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that eBuilders Ltd have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should they see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered above being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, eBuilders Ltd cannot be held responsible for any hacking or cracking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.

7.???This forum system uses cookies to store information on your local computer. These cookies do not contain any of the information you have entered. They serve only to improve your viewing pleasure. The email address is used for confirming your registration details and password (and for sending new passwords should you forget your current one). It may also be used to alert you to important announcements regarding this or other on-line services provided by eBuilders Ltd.

8.???You agree that you are responsible for choosing a secure password that cannot be easily guessed or cracked.
