Has anyone had their roof painted? There is a company going around my area looking for new business of washing down roofs, checking all the tiles are OK and replacing bad ones and then putting a coating on the roof to stop moss growing in the future and then painting the roof with a roof paint. They offer a 10 year guarantee and it will cost approx £3,000 to do my roof. Is this something that is a good idea or is it yet another waste of money? Has anyone any experience at this. I have signed on the dotted line but I have until the 12th December to back out!

hmm - not sure how big your roof is or what material it is but you could probably get a new roof done for a little more than £3000.

I would personally not get involved with companies who come knocking on doors for business.
