Hi, first time poster. I looking around for a forum where to get some crtitique on kitchen design; maybe I've found it.? ? ?

We bought a new house (should be finished building in June 2007) and from the very start the kitchen has been the center of my thoughts (Ms. routechecker thinks it's becomming a bit too much? ? ).

I've used the Ikea kitchen planner tool, not that I must buy the kitchen from them, but because it's quite user friendly for home use.

Ok, the kitchen has an area of 15.8 sq meters.
I got some screen captures of what it should look like. In the end we will probably go with white cabinets and a black Corian countertop.

Well I like the look of it. I like the way that the cooker is lined up just past the edge of the counter, allowing better access. Not sure that I would want the sink directly behind the cooker though. Very nice looking design
