Expanding Foam

3 weeks ago we got double glazing installed into our flat. As the workmen were installing the units, they did not surround the frames with expanding foam. When questioned, they said this is normal. Since then, we have had condensation and misty windows, the vertical woodwork finishing is now damp and we are getting a slight draught from some of the windows. Are there any specific regulations/guidlines in Scotland which must be adhered to when actually installing windows? Should there have been expanding foam inserted as an 'industry standard' or 'common practice' to help both the windows stay in position and also improve the efficiency of the product?
