I have a window pane that requires changing in my double glazed window. Could I :-
1. Purchase the glass from a glass supplier and fit it my self
2. If so, what measurements would I require apart from the obvious
3. How do I remove the old window and refit the new

you cannot just replace a single pane - you have to replace the whole sealed unit

personally I would get a double glazing repairs person in to do the job - measurements will vary a bit depending on upvc or aluminium window system thats been used

thanks for the reply, the window is of a UPVC construction with what looks like external beading holding the sealed window unit in place, do i need to give the glass firm any additinal measurements, apart from the height and width of the glass unit.
