Hello,

What is the best roofing material that I could use on a flat, sunroom roof? My sunroom roof measures 13 feet by 9 feet. It has had some leaking in the past and I have just seal the holes with a special black sealant for roof leaking repairs. Someone told me that there is a rubber liked type of material that you can cover the whole roof with. Does anybody know the name of this material or what it is called??? I will appreciate any informational assistance. Thanks!

I think you are looking for liquid applied roofing. It is recommended to cover over existing roofs that have reached the end of their life without the expense of removing the existing roof. Do some research and get some quotes. The following are a few links to get you started.

The best coating/covering for a flat roof is fibreglass.
This moulds well to the existing roof and wall.
It is expected to last for 25 years but, being easy to repair should go on for ever. The only problem with it, I have found is, it is very slippery when wet, worse than an ice rink, so you need to be very careful when walking on it.
