Which gives the better sound insulation 35mm poly or Pilkington k glass?How good is that insulation?
I am asking because i have a ground floor flat. Directly above is a kitchen window and a bedroom window next to that. My proposed conserv is a lean -to, projected 3.50m out & 7metres across the back of the house.
My other option of course is a proper extension but this cuts out too much light.

Double glazing would be better but you would be better off with one of the special glasses like
