Carpet off-cut into a rug?

We have a nice piece of carpet, about 4ft by 5ft, left over after fitting a new carpet.

What is the best (cheapest? easiest?) way to make it into a rug? I.e. to fix the edges so that the carpet tufts don't pull out.
