I have just started the process of obtaining quotes for a PVC-u conservatory and the differences in sales reps approach is quite staggering.Much,much more in than my previous encounters with the building trade & double glazing.
There appears to be alot conflicting and mis-information regarding just about every aspect of building a conservatory.

One question I have is on the PVC-u itself.
Are there different grades/qualities of PVC-u ?
One sales rep has told me that their company only use "new" PVC,not recylced,with a certain % of titanium etc etc.
The next rep told me that there is no such thing as differing grades of PVC,they are all the same and it cannot be recylced anyway.

Also,a couple of companies told me that they buy in their extrusions from Germany,but would not give me the name of the company,only that they were the best in the world in terms of quality.

I need an informed opinion on what I should be looking for in terms of the PVC-u itself & frames,please as I think I can sort out the good from rubbish in terms of planning,building regs,glass,heating etc.
