Bob - not sure whether the radiator solution tapped onto a main CH system is the one you seek but if you need an independent setup then please look at our Wood Pellet Stoves at http://www.StCroix.co.uk
These are almost as quick to light as gas and do not need a fancy chimney (very similar to gas flue) and for a conservatory would be enough to have our basic flue kit.
On top these are not only efficient but also "very green" if you are environmentally concerned plus there is a grant available to assist ! :D Must be good news.
