Hi Angel,

No, as hohoho says, you're not right in thinking that Rock Solid Kitchens and Kitchens Direct are the same. I think Kitchens Direct would have something to say if Vance Miller started to use that name.

KD are more legit than RSK - but they're still a direct sales outfit and I wouldn't go to them for a cheap kitchen.

When I'm working with a very low budget, I look at IKEA or Wickes ... or, if you know someone in the trade (a fitter or a builder), or you can persuade them that you are a property developer yourself ... have a look at Howdens (you need a trade account).

If you choose IKEA, though, just be aware that there are no voids behind the units for pipes etc - these need to be at plinth height - or you can buy extra deep worktop to bring the units away from the wall (but that, of course, puts the price up).
